Introduction

Last updated: September 8, 2026

Bit14 (“we”, “our”, or “us”) develops and publishes various mobile applications for smartphones and mobile devices. We are dedicated to protect our users’ (“users” or “you”) privacy rights. The purpose of this page is to inform you about our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information if anyone decided to use the applications or software offered by us (collectively, the “Service”). If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The personal information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy applies to all mobile applications published by Bit14. Our apps differ in functionality: some work entirely offline, while others offer optional user accounts, online multiplayer, and in-app purchases. The sections below indicate which practices apply to which type of app.

Data We Collect

a. Data you provide (apps with accounts)

Some of our apps let you create an account by signing in with Google or Apple. When you do, we receive and store your email address, display name/username, profile picture or avatar, and a unique account identifier. You may also choose a username and avatar inside the app.

b. Gameplay and profile data (apps with accounts or online play)

We store your game statistics (games played, won, lost, abandoned), in-game virtual currency and balances, items and cosmetics you own or unlock, and records of online matches you take part in. This includes the emotes and short text messages (up to 25 characters) that you send to other players during a match. Messages are stored only briefly on our servers in order to deliver them to the other players, and are then removed automatically.

c. Purchase data

Purchases are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We never receive or store your card or payment details. We do receive and store a record of your transactions, including the product purchased, the amount, the currency and the date. We use this to credit purchases to your account and to keep items you own linked to it. Purchases of virtual currency are consumed when used and cannot be restored.

d. Data collected automatically

Advertising identifiers (Google Advertising ID / IDFA), device and installation identifiers, IP address, device model, OS version, app version, language and region, crash and diagnostic reports, and app usage/performance data. Our service providers receive your IP address whenever the app connects to them, and it may be used to infer your approximate region.

e. Locally stored data

Apps without accounts, and guest modes within apps that do offer accounts, keep your settings and progress only on your device. The advertising and crash reporting described in section (d) still applies, so some data is transmitted even when you do not sign in.

We work with the following third-party services, who process data on our behalf:

  • Google AdMob — advertising
  • Firebase Authentication — sign-in
  • Cloud Firestore — account, profile, and match data storage
  • Firebase Crashlytics — crash reporting
  • Firebase Remote Config — remote configuration of app features
  • Google Sign-In, Apple Sign In — authentication
  • Cloudinary — image and asset delivery
  • Google Play services — in-app review and update prompts
  • Google Play Billing / Apple App Store — purchases

All data collected by these services is handled according to their respective privacy policies.

How We Use Information We Collect

We may use the information collected from you in any one or more of the following ways:

  • To maintain and improve our Service.
  • To assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.
  • To prevent fraud or potentially illegal, unethical activities.
  • To prevent ad-fraud and abuse.
  • To personalize your advertising experience.
  • To provide advertising and promotional information in connection with the Service.
  • To create and maintain your account and authenticate you.
  • To save and sync your progress, statistics, and purchases across sessions and devices.
  • To operate online multiplayer, including matchmaking, showing your username and avatar to other players in a match, and delivering emotes and messages between players.
  • To deliver in-app purchases and keep purchased items linked to your account.
  • To send notifications and reminders you have enabled.
  • To provide customer support.

How We Protect Your Information

The security and confidentiality of your personal information is very important to us, so we take appropriate security measures (including physical, electronic and procedural measures) to help safeguard your information from unauthorized access and disclosure. Please know that, despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:

With other players — In online multiplayer, your username, avatar, emotes and text messages are visible to other players in your match or room. Do not use your real name or any personal detail as your username if you do not want it seen by others.

With service providers — We share information with the third parties listed above, who process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Advertising partners — Where you have consented to personalised advertising, advertising identifiers are shared with Google AdMob and its partners. Under some US state laws, this may be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Legal reasons — We may disclose information where required by law or where necessary to prevent fraud or abuse.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, download or delete the personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw your consent to personalised advertising at any time. You can reset or limit ad personalisation on your device (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking). To exercise any of these rights, email apps@bit14.com.

Where the GDPR applies, we process your data to perform our contract with you (operating your account and online multiplayer), with your consent (personalised advertising and notifications), and for our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention and improving the Service). If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

About Deletion Of Information

For apps without accounts: Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.

For apps with accounts: Uninstalling the app does not delete data held on our servers. To delete your account and associated data, open Settings → Delete Account in the app, submit a request at https://bit14.com/account-deletion/, or email apps@bit14.com from your registered address. We will delete your account profile - including your email address, username, avatar, statistics, virtual currency balance, owned items and transaction history - within 30 days. Records of completed online matches are shared with the other players in those matches; rather than deleting them outright, we retain them in a form that no longer identifies you.

Further information about Personal Data

Our apps are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom where required). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children below these ages. If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child below the applicable age, we will delete it. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at apps@bit14.com.

We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

Material changes to the Privacy Policy will be communicated or signalled through the app where appropriate.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
